Name: genYP Branding Yourself as a Professional Series - Presented by Bunker Labs
Date: July 23, 2020
Time: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM CDT
Event Description:
Join us for the Branding Yourself as a Professional Series - Emotional Intelligence Workshop with Chrystal Stanley, Director of Professional & Career Development at Drake University. What is EQ? It is about being aware of your feelings, and those of others. Emotional intelligence is not about being emotional. It is about being smart with your emotions. It is not always the most intelligent person in the room who is the most successful.  IQ isn't enough to predict success in life. IQ might help you land a job, but EQ will help you build relationships, deal with stress, and manage change, which all lead to success, personally and in business. During this session, you will be introduced to EQ and the 5 key skills you can use to develop your EQ.  This activity-heavy webinar is sure to give you at least two proactive steps you can take today to improve your relationships, strengthen your leadership, decrease your stress, and enrich your life.

The Branding Yourself as a Professional Workshop Series is designed to provide young professionals with information to excel in their professional and civic endeavors. The series includes four different workshop classes. Participants will be introduced to new tools to bolster their careers, interact with leaders and be challenged as future leaders.
