Event Description:
This workshop series is designed to provide young professionals with information to excel in their professional and civic endeavors. The series includes 4 different workshop classes (listed below). Participants will be introduced to new tools to bolster their career, interact with leaders and be challenged as future leaders.
Cost: $25/workshop
All workshops will take place from 7:30-9:30 am in the RODAN Board Room at the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce (2830 100th Street, Ste 110, Urbandale).
This workshop is all about Negotiation. During the two hour presentation, you will learn about job negotiating (compensation, vacation, work at home arrangements, etc), serving on a board and how to be successful negotiating in that environment which includes peers, potential employers, mentors, influencers, etc, how to negotiate bartering and trading for mutual benefit as well as working with company politics.
