FuseDSM Monthly Luncheon - "Lift DSM: The Future DSM Experience" with Kevin Foley, Executive Director Des Moines Airport Authority
The FuseDSM Monthly Luncheon will typically be held on the 1st Thursday of every month. Each month the Chamber invites a dynamic speaker to provide timely information affecting our community, insight on issues concerning the community, or inspirational stories which resonate within the community.
There is networking time prior to the start of the program and lunch being served. This is the monthly event you do not want to miss to maintain those important relationships with your fellow members.
"Lift Des Moines: The Future DSM Experience"
The Des Moines Airport Authority joins FuseDSM to inform and excite Chamber members of the interconnected construction and renovation projects occurring at the Des Moines International Airport. This presentation will provide a working timeline for various projects along with the expected groundbreaking and opening of a new terminal facility which aims to lift the passenger experience while enhancing safety and operational efficiency at DSM.
Kevin Foley, Executive Director Des Moines Airport Authority
Kevin Foley joined the Des Moines International Airport team in June, 2008, as its Properties Administrator, transitioning to Deputy Aviation Director in January 2009, and then to the Assistant Executive Director position in January 2011. He accepted the position of Executive Director in February of 2014. Prior to joining the Airport, Mr. Foley served as an Associate Professor of Aviation for the University of Dubuque. His professional experience also includes several key management roles with Dubuque Regional Airport, 1992 – 2000, and a stint as a corporate pilot. Kevin possesses a Master of Business Administration degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management.
