Come understand how our food choices affect climate change, and find healthy, economical, and delicious ways to reduce your impact on the environment in a workshop Sunday, April 10 in Pella.
Iowa Interfaith Power & Light offers the “Food-Faith-Climate” workshop from 2- 3:30pm at Second Reformed Church, 612 Broadway, in Pella. Workshop participants will reflect on what religious faith traditions have to say about care of creation, sustainable food systems, examine household food practices and create a plan to make more climate-friendly food choices.
Registration is free thanks to a generous donation by Second Reformed Church, First Baptist Church, and Central College. Participants receive pocket guides for sustainable eating, tips and resources for climate-friendly food choices and a climate-friendly snack provided by Hy-Vee.
