The Greater Des Moines partnership is excited to team up with the Iowa Women's Business Center to bring you First Fridays! The goal of First Fridays is for the aspiring entrepreneurs and the people of Des Moines to hear from business owners and entrepreneurs who have helped shape the communities in which we live. The speakers are makers, store owners, movers and shakers, creators of regional or national brands, and all have stories that are uniquely their own.
Nicole Lorenson is the owner and creator of PRESERVATION, a vintage and modern lifestyle shop + photo studio in Des Moines' East Village. She is a classically trained photographer with a timeless yet modern style, much like her shop. Nicole has been shooting in the fashion and portrait industry 2005, specializing in weddings, newborns, and everything in between. Hailing from small town Iowa, she has found Des Moines to be her home of choice not only for herself but also for her thriving business.
