Firestarter Meeting
FuseDSM, Your Chamber of Commerce is growing, so we need to grow our Firestarter (Ambassador) group!
We are targeting your business because we see potential in leadership that could benefit both you and the Chamber. Our Firestarters are the lifeblood of the Chamber. They are the spark and energy our chamber needs to ignite growth and prosperity for our members while exploring new businesses to inspire. They are our biggest advocates. They welcome and encourage involvement from new members. They also attend events and assist with registration and greeting of guests.
Firestarters are our brand ambassadors for the chamber, and by visiting with our members, they are forming the relationship with the member to then be able to start the discussion about their own business. This opens a door for them that they may not otherwise have for networking with potential clients as a warm, welcoming arm of the Chamber. Sounds much better than cold calling, doesn’t it?
To kick off this event, we are having a recruiting luncheon. We will provide lunch and details and give you the opportunity to decide if this group is a good fit for you as a leader in our business community.
Location: The Food Bank of Iowa
Time: 12:00-1:00 on April 25th
**Our current Firestarters will be there 11:00am for a regular meeting before our recruiting event and will then be staying for this event to talk about their experience and what it has done for them professionally and personally.
