"Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter"
There's far more intelligence and energy inside organizations than most of us realize. But how do we access all the intelligence and capability our people have to give? As a leader, you have the power to multiply what your team brings to the organization, and you also have the power to diminish talent and energy. This is the focus of leadership expert and best-selling author Liz Wiseman's book Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter.
Wiseman discovered two types of leaders in her research: Multipliers and Accidental Diminishers. These leaders operate in dramatically different ways and get vastly different levels of capabilities from others. The research shows that Multipliers capitalize on peoples' intelligence, talent, and insights without asking for a bigger investment.
Join Alan Feirer as he guides you through Wiseman's findings to develop a practical solution that enables leaders to become Multipliers who:
1. Reduce the impact of diminisher tendencies.
2. Ask better questions.
3. Look for genius.
4. Create space for others.
5. Offer more significant challenges.
