Event Description:
Members of the Des Moines East and South Chamber are invited to attend this orientation luncheon to learn more about the benefits of membership. This event is open for anyone; we encourage new members and new employees of current members to attend. Engage is an opportunity to learn about the core functions of the Chamber, meet with Chamber staff and become familiar with programs and services that benefit you. The luncheon will give you the tools and guidance you need to get the most out of your Chamber investment. Members will be asked to give a 30-second elevator speech about their business and what they can offer to the chamber and other members.
One of the programs Engage will introduce to you is a hands-on training event called REELizing the Value. It is held every third Tuesday of each month at the Fleur Cinema from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. REELizing the Value is a way for the Chamber to assist its members by offering a professional education series addressing the needs of businesses, large or small. Chamber business leaders will speak on topics designed to provide valuable professional development.
