Event Description:
The ACE Des Moines Metro Team will present this year's project, the Des Moines Water Works' Welcome Center & Pavilion.
ACE Central Iowa Teams are comprised of five teams and 14 area schools. Students are assigned to planning and design groups for Architecture, Engineering, Electrical, and Construction projects. This year, all five teams will work on a Welcome Center & Pavillon for Des Moines Water Works. ACE Year students also visit construction sites and Iowa State University during the program.
The ACE Competition team of Central Iowa has been selected to compete nationally for the last two years. Students prepare by presenting their projects to the Downtown Chamber audience.
