DSM Intern Connection 2025 Kickoff Event - Elevate Your Network: Mastering Connection & Confidence for Career Success

Networking is more than just exchanging business cards. Networking is about building authentic relationships, cultivating confidence, and making meaningful connections that support long-term career success. It is encompassing the human experience all wrapped up into one exchange.

This interactive session will empower students with essential networking skills, from mastering small talk to making a lasting impression. With a blend of neuroscience, psychology, and real-world experience, students will learn how to confidently enter a room, engage in purposeful conversations, and create professional relationships that will serve them throughout their careers.

The Kickoff Event will feature a program overview, remarks from business leaders and an opportunity to get to know other interns in DSM USA. Come prepared to brush up on your networking skills as you kick off your summer in DSM USA!

The DSM Intern Connection event series returns to Greater Des Moines (DSM). The series will feature opportunities for interns and college-aged students to connect with community leaders and executives, as well as opportunities to network with fellow students while learning about what makes DSM unique and truly the place to be.
