Event Description:

One of the hardest hit business areas by COVID-19 has been the live entertainment industry. Join us for a frank discussion of where things stand today, what to expect near term and what will allow us to get back to enjoying live entertainment. Hear from Chris Connolly of the Iowa Events Center and Jeff Chelesvig of Des Moines Performing Arts. Both of these speakers will share their perspectives on bringing this important industry back to life. 

The Greater Des Moines Partnership has published a compilation of DSM Forward industry playbooks and business function playbooks to help businesses and industries prepare for the next steps related to economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic when the time is right.

In alignment with the DSM Forward initiative, we are hosting a series of DSM Forward webinars to help leaders in each industry connect, share and exchange information and resources related to moving forward into this next phase of reopening.

The event will take place on Monday, June 15 at 2 p.m. via Zoom.
