Event Description:
Food insecurity has been a big concern since COVID-19 began. The Food Bank of Iowa has created resources in our community to help curb the issue, such as partnering with grocery stores to utilize unpurchased food and adding food pantries in Des Moines Public Schools. Michelle Book, President & CEO of Food Bank of Iowa, will share the changes being seen in the industry and how she seems things changing in the near future.
The Greater Des Moines Partnership has published a compilation of DSM Forward industry playbooks and business function playbooks to help businesses and industries prepare for the next steps related to economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic when the time is right.
In alignment with the DSM Forward initiative, we are hosting a series of DSM Forward webinars to help leaders in each industry connect, share and exchange information and resources related to moving forward into this next phase of reopening.
