Downtown Des Moines Walkability Public Meetings

We need your help exploring ideas to make getting around Downtown feel safer, more comfortable, and convenient.  Urban Land Institute Iowa, Greater Des Moines Partnership and the City of Des Moines have begun a formal study to examine the existing street network within Downtown. The goal is to explore opportunities to use existing right-of-way to enable further enhancements of the Downtown Core.  (i.e. Make Downtown more walkable.)  The formal study, called Connect Downtown, will be hosting two public meetings where we will share what we have learned thus far, and request feedback and input from all of you.
