Event Description:
Food and Fun in Dogtown with an Economic Development Twist! University Avenue in front of Drake is buzzing with economic activity! Streetscapes are being improved, new restaurants are opening, and a new hotel is now open. The new Harkin Institute will be open by the end of this year and a remodeled Varsity Cinema will become the new home of the Des Moines Film Society. Come see all of this and more during a Walking Tour of the newly forming Dogtown Business and Entertainment District.
