Event Description:
Join the Greater Des Moines Partnership for an update on the COVID-19 vaccine development and distribution strategies. Attendees will receive information on the vaccine's development process and gain insight on distribution on national, state and county levels. Featured speakers will include Dr. Meg Frazer, Senior Director of Vaccines Medicine at Pfizer and Ken Sharp, Division Director of Acute Disease Prevention, Emergency Response and Environmental Health at the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH).
Attendees will hear from County Public Health on vaccine procedures and protocols during breakout sessions with participating County representatives. Polk, Dallas, Jasper, Warren and Poweshiek Counties have confirmed speakers. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
