Event Description:

Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., Drake Law School graduate and President and Chief Executive Officer of SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management will join us on April 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  April’s Conversations in Color will focus on strategies and actions needed to boldly address today's inequities while leading workplaces to increased diversity and inclusion.

Strong diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies play an integral role in creating safe, productive workplaces and sparking positive change. According to Taylor, “In today's changing world of work, getting workplace diversity right is not enough; we must foster inclusive workplace cultures. This not only requires thoughtful discussion, but deliberate action to break through barriers that stand in the way.”

Join us as we discuss inclusive talent attraction, retention and career development, investing in diversity, equity and inclusion education rooted in racial equity and steps corporations can take  to make workplace cultures more inclusive.
