Open House 1:00 to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 12, at Pella Community Library meeting room!
At 1:30, Carol Van Klompenburg, author of On Mended Wings: Transforming Lives and Communities in Nicaragua, will talk about the Nicaragua’s impact on her life. At 2:00 p.m., Pastor Gary Hanson will share information about a new Pella-Nicaragua Christian partnership, Friends of Chinandega. Also part of the afternoon: Nicaraguan craft displays and sales, short video testimonies, refreshments, On Mended Wings book sales and signing, children’s activity corner, and conversations with the author and with members of Friends of Chinandega.
