The Central College A Cappella Choir, Chamber Singers, Hand Bell Choir and College-Community Orchestra will perform their annual Christmas Candlelight Concerts at 8 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10 in Douwstra Auditorium. There will be an additional performance at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Central Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.

The concerts will include a Christmas Oratorio by Camille Saint-Saëns, contemporary works by Stephen Paulus and traditional Christmas carols arranged by John Rutter and others. A reception at Star Bar in Des Moines will follow the Dec. 8 concert.

            Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students up to age 22. A Central ID is not valid for the Des Moines performance.
