Central alum and acclaimed reporter Harry Smith will conduct an in-depth interview with Dr. Reza Aslan at 7pm in the Harry and Bernice Vermeer Graham Banquet Room of the Graham Conference Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Aslan often addresses topics of Islam, the Middle East, and Muslim Americans with authority, wit, and infectious optimism. He is the author of Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth—a momentous work of popular scholarship that rocketed to No. 1 on the New York Times best seller list. He’s also the host of Rough Draft with Reza Aslan, a rollicking new television series on writing and the writing life.
