Central College presents "Basic Sign Language for the Classroom"

The Geisler Penquite committee is proud to host speaker Penni Bouwers, who served as a sign language interpreter in the classroom for a number of years. She will provide an interactive, engaging workshop aimed at teaching participants basic sign language and finger spelling skills to be used in the classroom. While this workshop does not provide sign language certification, it will provide participants with basic methods for working with children with communication/ hearing disorders in the classroom.
