Central College presents Ashanti with Christian Howes

Christian Howes grew up in Columbus, Ohio and received a degree in Philosophy from the Ohio State University.  As an educator, performer and composer, Howes has gained great notoriety and respect from critics and players alike.  He was a favorite of the late Les Paul with whom he worked for 11 years.  In recent years, Howes as become an in-demand violinist on the New York scene and in August 2011, he was ranked as the #1 violinist in the Downbeat Critics Poll “Rising Stars.” 8 pm, Central's Grand Central Station.
