Central College Commencement

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11, 2013. Baccalaureate and a gathering of the class of 2013 will be held in Douwstra Auditorium at 3 pm. Class dean Leslie Duinink will be the featured speaker. Following this ceremony, there will be a wine and cheese reception hosted by the college, and time for family dinners on your own at the Central Market or at a variety of restaurants around the Pella community. The commencement ceremony in H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse is planned for 8 pm. This year’s commencement speaker is Central alumna Bernadette Allen ’78. Bernadette is the former U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Niger, a post named by presidential appointment and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
