Event Description:
The Bargain Basket Thrift Shop in the East Village invites the community for “pre-holiday” fun at their first Business After Hours event. The event is sponsored in partnership with Blo Des Moines, Madhouse Brewing Company, Noodle Zoo and VG Cosmetics.
Admission is free and includes festive snacks, refreshments, and fun. A 10% store discount will be available to those who bring a donated item to the event.
The store carries apparel and shoes for women, men and children, as well as some furniture, small appliances, and household items. All proceeds from the sale of these items support the Junior League’s mission and community projects impacting children’s health, hunger, and poverty. Since its inception, Bargain Basket has provided more than one million dollars toward these efforts.
