Pella Area pet lovers are again invited to a unique “Blessing of the Animals” event from 9:30-10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, in the outdoor courtyard at Second Reformed Church at 612 Broadway in Pella.
Pet owners are invited to bring their, dogs, fish, hamsters or faithful companions of any sort for a brief celebration of our animals’ goodness and receive an individualized blessing as well as an informal photograph. Guests are asked to please bring their pets in a safe and responsible way, such as on a leash or in a carrier.
Light refreshments will be available.
