Balloon Fest

Lake Red Rock Balloon Fest is going to be a blast! Check out these great family-friendly events  at North Overlook Beach (unless noted otherwise) while enjoying the beauty of the lake and hot air balloons. Please note that all launch details are subject to change due to weather and wind conditions…
Friday, July 12:
6:30pm (approximately) Opening launch (KNIA/KRLS and Red Rock Balloon Fest commentary provided)
Saturday, July 13th:
6:30am: Morning Balloon Launch
7:00am: Pancake Breakfast on the Beach ($5/person)
8:00am: North Overlook Beach 5K and 10K FUNdraiser Run ($20 Registration)
9:00-11:00am: Sand Sculpting
9:00-11:00am: “Let’s Go Paddling”
1:00pm: Pella Wildlife Company (located at South Overlook Visitors Center)
3:00pm: “Let’s Go Fly a Kite!”
6:00-10:00pm:  Beach Party! Featuring Jefferson County Green Band, food and drink vendors, etc.
6:30pm: Evening Balloon Launch (again KNIA/ KRLS and Red Rock Balloon Fest announcers providing commentary)
8:00-10:00pm: Tethered Balloon Rides sponsored by Edward Jones
Sunday, July 14:
6:30am: Final Launch
