Name: Avoiding the 5 Dysfunctions of Teams
Date: August 16, 2017
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
There is no question that working within a group has its difficulties, and in many cases people might opt to accomplish tasks on their own in order to avoid any inconvenience. However, collaboration is essential for creative success, and being a part of a team is fundamentally inescapable as life is all about learning to work within various groups.  This session is based on the highly successful book by the same name, and deals with the five most common dysfunctions of teams.  By looking at and exploring the top dysfunctions, participants are able to self-assess their teams and determine a plan for dealing with their teams’ dysfunctions.
  • Understand the behaviors that most commonly derail teams.
  • Assess which areas their team(s) struggles with the most, and why.
  • Develop a personalized action plan designed to help their team overcome its dysfunctions and work together more cohesively.
