Event Description:
The Angel Investor Workshop Series is a two-part event to help emerging angel investors across Central Iowa (and beyond) gain knowledge about investing, engage in curated course through partner organizations and connect with other investors in the region.

Participants will have the opportunity to develop a startup investment strategy and expand capital in the ecosystem with a goal of creating economic opportunities for startup companies.

  • Angel investments in diversified angel portfolios
  • Finding, investing in, and nurturing angel deals
  • Well-regarded practices of seasoned angels
  • Art of valuation in angel investments
  • Investing as a group (SPVs, investment clubs)
  • Angels amongst venture capital
The workshops are part of a series hosted before the Iowa Angel Investor Summit. 

Workshop #1: An Introduction to Angel Investing Fundamentals

Workshop #2: Developing a Startup Investor Strategy
October 15 from 5-7pm
