Event Description:
The Angel Investor Workshop Series is a two-part event to help emerging angel investors across Central Iowa (and beyond) gain knowledge about investing, engage in curated course through partner organizations and connect with other investors in the region.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop a startup investment strategy and expand capital in the ecosystem with a goal of creating economic opportunities for startup companies.
Participants will learn:
Workshop #1: An Introduction to Angel Investing Fundamentals

Workshop #2: Developing a Startup Investor Strategy
Tuesday, October 15 from 5-7 p.m.
We invite you to join us October 8 & October 15!
An optional add-on ticket to attend the Iowa Angel Investor Summit is available and encouraged.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop a startup investment strategy and expand capital in the ecosystem with a goal of creating economic opportunities for startup companies.

- What is it like investing as an angel?
- Angel investments in diversified angel portfolios
- Finding, investing in, and nurturing angel deals
- Well-regarded practices of seasoned angels
- Art of valuation in angel investments
- Investing as a group (SPVs, investment clubs)
- Angels amongst venture capital
