Event Description:

The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting community residents to become Champions in the fight against Alzheimer’s by participating in the annual Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.  The Pella Tulip Toren on the Town Square will be the site of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 17th at 10 am (Registration begins at 9:30 am).

Consider developing a TEAM to support the cause!  If you want to lead a team, or be on a team you can register at www.alz.org/greateriowa or call 515-440-2722.  You can also participate individually by simply showing up for the walk on September 17th, or support a team of your choice.
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is an empowering event that gives participants an opportunity to be Champions by taking action and raising funds to fight Alzheimer’s.  In addition to the 1.6 mile walk, participants will enjoy an opening ceremony, memorial flower garden, and a raffle for a quilt hanging.  The Pella Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a Regional Walk covering Newton, Oskaloosa, Pella, Knoxville, and surrounding communities.
