AARP Driver Safety Program
Name:
AARP Driver Safety Program
Date:
November 10, 2011
Time:
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CST
Event Description:
If you would like to update your driving knowledge and skills, you are invited to attend the AARP Driver Safety Program on November 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pella Public Library meeting room. The program is free to all military personnel, veterans and their families.
Designed for older drivers, this course identifies ways to compensate for the physical changes that occur as we age. Attendees will learn about bad driving habits, common crash situations, and how to become a safer driver. AARP volunteer Sandra Winkel has 10 years experience teaching the Driver Safety class. “I totally believe in the program,” says Winkel. “It has been proven that people who take the class have fewer crashes.”
