Data centers have been part of Greater Des Moines for nearly 20 years. As our economy becomes more digital, the infrastructure behind the technology we use every day continues to grow in importance.

Join us for an educational conversation about data centers, how they operate and how they fit into Greater Des Moines’ broader digital infrastructure. Panelists will share insights on electricity and water use, investment in local infrastructure, contributions to the local economy and community, and the role data centers play in supporting businesses and our increasingly connected economy. The discussion will also look at how new technology is changing data center operations and resource use, and what those changes could mean for the future of digital infrastructure.
