Event Description:
The second annual Future World of Work Summit will take place on Thursday, Oct. 5 at the UnityPoint Health Des Moines Conference & Learning Center (also known as the Education & Research Center-ERC) at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
The Summit will inform, educate and inspire the business and education community in the Greater Des Moines region. The event will highlight ways that employers and educators can adapt and thrive in the work and learning ecosystems of tomorrow.
The Summit programming will include hyper-local perspectives on innovation in the workplace, learning and technology with keynote speakers. Breakout sessions will highlight each of these topics with nationally recognized thought leaders and futurists.
The Future World of Work Summit is sponsored by UnityPoint Health - Des Moines, Sammons Financial Group, Iowa Workforce Development, The Palmer Group, and Des Moines Area Community College.
Location/Parking: The UnityPoint Health Des Moines Conference & Learning Center, also known as the Education & Research Center (ERC) is located on level 1 of the Iowa Methodist Parking Garage (See video instructions). The Iowa Methodist Parking Garage is located on the west side of the Iowa Methodist campus, on the corner of Pleasant St. and 14th Place. Parking in the Iowa Methodist Parking Garage is recommended. To enter the ERC, take the South parking garage elevators to the first floor. After exiting the elevator, you will be in the ERC. Look for the red Partnership signs to help direct you. You may also enter the ERC from the Woodland Avenue entrance. If the parking garage is full, please utilize street parking locations around the hospital or the lot off Woodland Avenue for additional parking.
