Event Description:
This year we have teamed up with EMC Insurance Companies and the Des Moines Arts Festival to provide you with an opportunity to add volunteerism on your resume. By registering for this community engagement project, you will be able to be a part of an internationally known and award-winning event. 

Thanks to our host and sponsor at EMC Insurance Companies, we will meet at their campus for food and networking at 5 p.m. Then we will head over to Western Gateway Park at 5:30 p.m. to start the project. Please plan on bringing a change of comfortable clothes.

***There are two entrances into EMC Insurance Companies. Please enter through the skywalk and check-in with the skywalk receptionist (across from Timbuktu coffee); tell the receptionist you are here for the volunteer event. You will need to bring your driver’s license when you check-in. 
Free parking is available in Parking Lot A; located to the south of EMC Insurance Companies on the corner of 7th and Cherry Street. You may enter the parking lot on either 7th or 8th street. Please pull up to the gate, press the button on the control panel, and tell the operator your name and that you’re here for the volunteer program. The gate will rise and you may park in any available parking spot.
