The Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Des Moines Business Record will honor area companies with the Celebrate Business and Economic Impact Awards at a luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 17.
Celebrating 34 years of local economic impact in 2016, the Economic Impact Awards recognize companies that have had a significant influence on the local economy in terms of job creation, capital investment and facility expansion.
The 2016 Economic Impact Award winners are:

Since 1999, the Celebrate Business Awards have promoted the Greater Des Moines business community by acknowledging innovative and enduring business initiatives. The awards are presented annually to business winners in several categories, including embracing innovation, promoting lifelong learning, building a reputation for integrity and quality while remaining outside the public limelight or encouraging involvement in community activities.
