2014 Klompen Classic 5k

The Klompen Classic 5K Run/Walk is a family friendly event you won’t want to miss! The run begins and ends on Pella’s quaint town square with the 5K race route winding its way through the Dutch community showcasing windmills, hundreds of varieties of tulips and Dutch food vendors.

All proceeds support local families with what they stand in need of…employment & financial help, free counseling, parenting & internet safety classes, substance abuse help and much more.

4:30-6:45 Registration and packet pick-up on the west side of the square
6:00 Kid's Classic- FREE Fun Run for ages 10 and under. All parents must sign a parental release, t-shirts are $10.
6:45 Begin line up for the 5k at the corner of Main and Washington, with runners at the front and walkers farther south on the block
7:00 Race Start
8:00 Awards on the Tulip Toren

Entry fee: $20 for those registering on or before April 29, $25 for race day registrants. T-shirts while quantities last.
