This is a fun and educational, not scary, event featuring skits performed by Newton Community Theatre actors an members of the Jasper Conservation Connection. Hikers will meet various animal characters along the trail at Mariposa Recreation Area on Friday, October 23rd. The first hike begins at 6:00 PM and then every 15 minutes a new hike will begin until the last hike at 8:00 PM. Other activities will be Black-light animal tracking, pumpkin/gourd decorating, stargazing and roasting marshmallows while enjoying music by the fire. The cost is $3.00 per person. Money raised will go toward the Mariposa playground project.
