Join us for a joint Legislative Breakfast as the Waukee Area Chamber hosts the event at Independence Village for members of the Clive, Windsor Heights, Waukee and West Des Moines Chambers on Friday, January 7th starting at 7:30 am. This breakfast offers an opportunity to meet your Legislators, ask questions, and network. Registration is $25 and space is limited.
Ryan Moon, Public Policy Manager at the Greater Des Moines Partnership will be moderating the event.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Audrey Kennis, DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Director for the City of West Des Moines, has extensive experience developing and leading initiatives to further the advancement of marginalized communities and creating more equitable policies. She has held several positions working with under-represented populations and multi-cultural students within Iowa State University and other educational institutions.
Ms. Kennis obtained her Graduate Certificate in Education for Social Justice, a Master?s Degree in Education and is currently working towards a second Master?s Degree in Community and Regional Planning. She began her employment with the City of West Des Moines in September of 2021.
