The purpose of The Journey is to inspire the Des Moines business community by sharing the stories of three successful and interesting individuals within our community, profile their story, and feature their life’s journey. The Downtown Chamber is focused on making connections that count, and The Journey will make the connection from one generation of leaders to the next.
Chris Conetzkey, editor of the Business Record, will be filling the large shoes of past moderator Michael Gartner for the return of The Journey Series contributing the next generation perspective.
Downtown Chamber will offer a mentoring opportunity as an additional benefit to a select group of Young Professionals. This mentoring session will be an after interview ‘Meet & Greet’ with the featured guest from 6:30-7:30pm. Up to 10 people will be selected by the featured guest through an application process.
