RIBBON CUTTING AND 85TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
As our neighbors and friends in the Des Moines West Side Chamber of Commerce, we would like to cordially invite you to attend a Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony in our newly remodeled building. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, wine, and tours of the new space. The credit union was founded in 1931 as Younkers Credit Union for the department store employees and this year we are celebrating our 85th year in business with this newly renovated space that features a large cupola that was added to the top of the building to give it more visibility from Grand Avenue. The lobby includes a lighted wall of memorabilia from the Younkers department store in downtown Des Moines as a nod to our humble beginnings.
