Independence Day Activities in Pella
 · 9:00 am-1:00 pm Pony rides in Central Park
·  9:30-11:30 am Fishing at Caldwell Park (fishing poles and bait provided)
· 10:00 am-1:00 pm Tours of Vermeer Windmill, Gardens, and gift shop; Tours of Scholte House and Gardens (serving lemonade and cookies)
· 11:00 am-1:00 pm Games and Activities in Central Park (ladder golf, gunny sack races, Badminton, Bean Bag toss, dunk tank, inflatables– sponsored by Marion County Bank)
· 1:30 -3:00 pm Parade down Franklin Street from East 1st Street to West Market Park
· 4:00-7:00 pm Swimming at Aquatic Center
· 7:00-8:00 pm Entertainment in Central Park at Tulip Toren– City Band
· 9:45 pm Fireworks– lit east of Madison School
· 9 am- after the parade: Patriotic music & food stands

Fireworks: Firewords are launched from the East University Street and 240th Place intersection just east of Madison Elementary School. University Street from East 13th to 240th Place and 240th Place will be closed before and during the show. Vehicle parking is allowed only on designated hard surface parking lots, please do not park on any grassy areas. In case of rain, fireworks will be moved to July 7 at the same location.
