Event Description:
The Greater Des Moines partnership is excited to team up with the Iowa Women's Business Center to bring you First Fridays! The goal of First Fridays is for the aspiring entrepreneurs and the people of Des Moines to hear from business owners and entrepreneurs who have helped shape the communities in which we live. The speakers are makers, store owners, movers and shakers, creators of regional or national brands, and all have stories that are uniquely their own.
June's speaker is Liz Lidgettof Adore Your Walls. Liz is an art advisor, writer and video host. As CEO of Adore Your Walls, she works with people to find the perfect piece of art for their style, space, and budget. Liz also is a freelance contributor for many national publications and a video host for Better Homes and Gardens and Martha Stewart. She lives in Des Moines, IA, with her husband, Nick, their two cats, Cat Stevens and Nelly Purrtado, and their ever-expanding art collection.
