Event Description:
With over 3,000 housing units new and in the pipeline, Downtown Des Moines has experienced unprecedented residential growth. Meanwhile, the B-Cycle network has expanded with more bikes and new stations. Join ULI Iowa on Friday, October 27 to learn about where some of downtown’s newest residents are living.
Housing projects on the tour include: Nexus/the Edge, Eagle View Lofts, 219 E. Grand, Bridge District, Wilkins Building, Confluence on 3rd, Jackson Crossing, and Bici Flats.
Developers of these projects will participate in a panel discussion about the growth in downtown housing over a soup and sandwich lunch at the newly-restored Tea Room.
