Preferred Pest Control provides pest control services for homes, businesses, schools and many industries in central Iowa for over 37 years.
Preferred Pest Control is owned and managed by the Smith family. Our founder, Brad Smith, graduated as an Entomologist from Iowa State University in 1980 and started Preferred Pest Control in 1985. Now, two of his sons, Brian and Andy, have joined the business operations. Together, they provide expert insect identification and pest control services in the Des Moines metro area to homes and businesses.
After almost 40 years of excellence in the pest control industry, customers know they can count on Preferred Pest Control. Brian and Andy Smith run their business with integrity, ensuring their technicians provide high-quality customer service and pest control treatments. The team stays up-to-date on the latest industry techniques and prevention methods through regular trainings, conferences and pest control certifications. -
