DESCRIPTION:Join over 150 high school interns\, apprentices and future interns from across the region for the 3rd annual career development program\, The Legacy Project: Career Ready Collective. Over the course of three weeks\, participants will be inspired by nationally recognized keynote speakers\, develop professional skills and have the opportunity to network with peers and business professionals from across the region.\n\nParticipants who are 18 or parent/guardians of minor participants can click the red 'Register Now' button above to register. Please verify the home address is correct during registration. Participants will be awarded a certificate and $50 stipend per content event attended (max. $150) at the duration of the program and will be mailed to the provided address.\n\nThe Career Ready Collective is funded by the Legacy Project\, a fundraising initiative of the Principal Charity Classic with support from Sammons Financial Group. The curriculum and program have been developed by The Greater Des Moines Partnership with support from The Robert D. and Billie Ray Center with Drake University. The program is also sponsored by Principal Charity Classic\, Sammons Financial and the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council.\n\nWeekly Schedule:\n\nThursday\, June 18:\n\n\n	Breakout Session Topics: Personal Finance\, Foundations for Goal Achievement\, and a hands-on financial literacy challenge.\n\n\nFriday\, June 26:\n\n\n	Breakout Session Topics: Showcasing Your Strengths\, Knowing & Telling Your Story\, and a College Fair.\n\n\nFriday\, July 17:\n\n\n	Breakout Sessions Topics: Interview Like a Pro\, Mastering Care-Frontation\, and a Mock Interview experience.\n\n\n*Business casual attire preferred\n\nRegistration closes May 31\, or when capacity is reached.
