DESCRIPTION:MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) is a group of member business Owners/Presidents who meet monthly with Greg Thompson\, ActionCoach\, to discuss issues impacting their businesses. All member Business Owners/Presidents are invited to participate. Everyone must sign a confidentiality clause.\n\n\n\nThis month features Lori Vande Krol\, Creator of the ProAction Planner and Owner of Life Made Simple. We are overwhelmed daily with information in various forms including email\, paper\, phone calls\, texts\, notes\, digital files\, photos\, and much more. Productive Expert\, Lori Vande Krol\, wills share a simple way to categorize and organize this flow of information using the ART method\, as well as a proven process for dealing with our daily workflow. Lori will also share some basic tools and systems for managing your information so you can find what you need\, get things done\, and have more time for what matters most.\n\n\n\nAbout the speaker:\n\n \n \n \n \n Lori Vande Krol\, owner of Life Made Simple and creator of The ProAction Planner \, is a productivity consultant\, speaker\, and trainer who helps busy professionals and growing businesses around the world implement systems to increase efficiency and success. Lori has developed programs that help her clients tackle overwhelm by better managing time\, space\, and information. Her work has resulted in savings of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours for her clients\, in addition to a considerable reduction in stress and frustration. \n\n After receiving a BS in Mathematics from Iowa State University\, Lori worked 13 years as an Actuary and Risk Manager in a Fortune 500 company. This experience\, along with her experience as a productivity consultant\, personal role as wife and mother of three\, and community roles with various organizations have provided Lori with a great understanding of how an organized and productive environment can impact all areas of life. Lori is passionate about helping her clients get clear on their business and life goals and implement the best tools and strategies to achieve success. \n\n Lori currently serves on the NAWBO Iowa Board of Directors. She is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and served on its Board of Directors from 2015-2018. She was honored with the NAPO President's Award in 2019. Lori received her Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries in 2000 and graduated from the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute Class of 2015.\n\n Lori lives in Urbandale\, Iowa with her husband\, three beautiful daughters\, and two cats. When she isn't working on new ways to find and help clients\, Lori enjoys reading\, working out\, traveling with her family\, and finding great content on Netflix.
