Event Description:
With over 3,000 housing units new and in the pipeline, downtown Des Moines has experienced unprecedented residential growth. Meanwhile, the B-Cycle network has expanded with more bikes and new stations. Join ULI Iowa on Friday, October 27 for a B-Cycle tour to see where some of downtown’s newest residents are living.
Housing projects on the afternoon tour include: includes visits to: the Wilkins Building, Confluence on 3rd, Jackson Crossing, and Bici Flats.
Developers of these projects will participate in a panel discussion about the growth in downtown housing over a soup and sandwich lunch at the newly-restored Tea Room.
